I want to thank you for having such a wonderful informational piece on how useful technology is in the classroom. I work in Clark County School District in Nevada. I work at a Magnet Elementary School. Much of our curriculum focuses on Technology and Global Communication. We have Promethean Boards (aka Smart Boards) in every classroom in our school, 2 computer labs, and computers in every room, devices to perform video conferences with students, teachers, and administrators across the country and throughout the world. The YouTube clip was inspirational. I hope that other teachers who do not use a variety of technology to teach will see it and embrace the opportunity to teach in a whole new light. Thank you for sharing that video with me. It's a reminder of what I do on a daily basis to help keep my students engaged and interested in learning.

Our superintendent showed us this video during pre-planning last year. The possibilities are endless when it comes to using technology, yet it takes money to keep up with all of the new tech that's out there. We don't even have 1 smart board and our video camera is from the 80's. I can only dream of having a classroom equipped with a smart board, several i-Pads, Flip cameras, etc. Thanks for sharing!
